Herefordshire Wildlife Rescue
need lots of help and supplies including:
Cold card cash is always helpful for us as we are able to direct cash -or bank payments directly to our most pressing priorities.
Some people volunteer to collect animals which are in jeopardy and transport them. You will need your own vehicle, transport cages and some experience and confidence with animals.
We always need people to help with gardening or tree work. We feed massive files of vegetation to the animals in summer and you can help the animals and the staff and volunteers by working in the garden.
If you have experience running events we are very keen to hear from you. Dr Sasha Norris is able to talk at your event accompanied by hedgehogs or owls. To book contact sasha@siren.org.uk
HWR have a constant need for volunteers who have skills in building or carpentry. We need help with fencing, making aviaries, maintaining existing buildings and making new ones.
Please feel free to contact us if you feel able to establish an event to support our charity. If we are slow to respond please do be persistent, we are extremely busy always helping wildlife.
